History Islam in Korea

The history of the entry of Islam in Korea dates back to Arab trade with Korea in 1024, when Arab traders began a large hundred-person trade mission to the Goryeo kingdom during the reign of King Hyeonjong. This opened the door for Central Asian traders and migrants to settle in Korea, then the Mongols established control in 1259. But before they disappeared from Islamic history, the Korean Muslim population created scientific works and Muslim culture.
